Over the past few weeks, at JDK Cleaning we have been able to respond to a number of emergency cleaning services requests from a variety of organisations. This is because many normal cleaning routines and schedules have been disrupted by the coronavirus. Issues have included cleaners not being able to work due to self-isolation; and other cleaning contractors not being in a position to work.
These emergency contracts have included management companies for cleaning of residential blocks; empty care homes being prepared for patients suffering from Covid-19; surgeries who continue to operate; and ‘back to work’ deep cleans for businesses anticipating a return to business in the near future. We have also provided last-minute builders’ and post-refurbishment cleans for a number of construction companies who have been let down by other cleaning companies.
Emergency 24-Hour Call Out
JDK Cleaning is able to respond within a 24-hour time frame as we have teams of experienced cleaners whom we can call upon at short notice to deliver these ad hoc, emergency contracts throughout South West Wales.
During these cleans, we always wear appropriate PPE and we use colour-coded equipment to avoid the risk of cross-contamination. Our focus is on ensuring that high touch points and common areas where germs could spread are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised as well as a through, deep clean of all other areas of the building.
