This year (2022) sees the five-year working partnership between JDK Cleaning and the Oldwalls Collection in the Gower.
Oldwalls is South West Wales’ premier and unique retreat and wedding venue which is nestled in 50 acres of breath taking countryside. The whole venue, including the main function rooms and holiday accommodation is designed to the highest standards which is why they have gained a five-star reputation across the region. Maintaining these standards in all aspects of the business is paramount to the Oldwalls team including the level of cleaning required. That’s where JDK Cleaning came in.
JDK Cleaning is a local cleaning company, which like Oldwalls, prides itself on the standards we deliver to customers on every job. Set up 12 years ago by MD Jack Kelleher, with just a rental car and a hoover, within a year Jack had won enough contracts to give up his day job and focus on developing the cleaning business. Today, the company employs 15 staff (going up to 30 during seasonal peaks) and operates from dedicated offices and storehouse in Pontarddulais.
During this time, JDK Cleaning has actively sought larger contracts through the tendering process along with key, professional accreditations including CHAS and Safe Contractor.
To guarantee the highest standards of customer service and excellence, the company has also invested in Ezitracker, an attendance verification software Package, designed to monitor the hours worked by cleaners at different sites.
As a result of continued investment and development, JDK Cleaning is now the preferred commercial cleaning company for a range of sectors including end-of-tenancy, office, surgery and holiday park cleaning… to name but a few.
JDK Cleaning began cleaning the Oldwalls wedding function room five years ago. As the Oldwalls Collection has grown with the development of holiday accommodation and the acquisition of other venues House , so has their contract with JDK Cleaning which also includes carpet cleaning - a testament to the high standards which are delivered on a continual basis.
